May 19-20-21 – VICTORIA DAY WEEKEND – Our first long weekend of the season! FRI 7 pm Campfire Singalong with Bernie. SAT 10 am Soccer Baseball. 10 am Closest to the Pin (golf course). 7 pm Mixed Doubles Cornhole Tournament (come up with a hilarious team name & sign up by 6:45pm). 8-11 pm DJ Dance with the McNees.
June 3 & 10th – HAPPY CAMPERS MARKET at Shady Pines, organized by A-Z Events! 8 am-1 pm. Over 20 local vendors, pubic community event. If you want to set up a vendors booth, please fill out this application.
June 3 – WELCOME BACK SEASONAL CAMPERS BBQ – Lunch is on us! 12 noon: Choice of hamburger, turkey burger or hotdog; bag of chips, drink & ice cream – get your food tickets at the office one week prior (in time for food to be ordered). For our registered Seasonal Campers only, please.
June 17 – LOT GARAGE SALE DAY – Garage sale 1-4 p.m. Have something you no longer need or items in good shape to sell? Set up a table on your site and display your wares.

June 30- July 1-2 – CANADA DAY WEEKEND – Decorate your golf carts & bicycles for CANADA DAY! Lot Decorating Contest (judging until 10 pm Saturday). FRI 7 pm Campfire Singalong with Bernie. SAT – 10 am Nature Trail Hike. 10 am Closest to the Pin (golf course). 1:00 pm Canada Day Parade: classic vehicles, golf carts and bicycles. Invite your friends with classic vehicles to come out! Kids Parachute Battalion. 7 pm Canada Day cake & ice cream at the pavilion, enjoy musical entertainment by Girls Night Out. 9 pm FIREWORKS on the golf course.
July 8-9 EGG-CELLENT EASTER ADVENTURE – SAT 10 am Kids Crafts 11 am Easter Egg Hunt (12 yr and under). Facepainting, Visit from the Easter Bunny. Lot Decorating Contest. 1 pm Gaga Ball Tournament. 8 pm ‘Rocking the Rad 80s’ Neon Dance with the McNees. Show off your retro outfits! (Remember the 80s? Bold neon colours & patterns, rolled up cuffs on skinny jeans, the mullet, big earrings, bigger hair, shoulder pads, & our fav rock-band t-shirts.) SUN 12:30 p.m. Sunday Sundaes ice cream treats for kids.
July 15 – GOLF CART RODEO – Sat 1 pm Time Attack Races, Best Appearing Cart, Best Racing Outfit. Trophies, Prizes. 7 pm Kan-Jam Tournament (mixed teams). 8 pm Game Night at the Pavilion, challenge your friends to multiple table games.
July 22 – HAWAIIAN CHRISTMAS– Mele Kalikimaka! Sat 10 am Kids Crafts. Decorate the Tree, Visit with Santa, Gifts for Kids, Wagon ride with Santa. Most creative tropical Christmas outfit contest. Lot Decorating Contest. 5:30 pm Christmas Potluck at the Chalet, bring a fav first course or dessert to share. Sun 12:30 p.m. Sunday Sundaes ice cream treats for kids.
July 29 – SUMMER PARTY! SAT 12 noon Chili Cookoff. Who will win the coveted Chili Champ Award? Campers, enter a family-sized crock pot of your secret chili recipe. Stay for lunch $4 bowl of chili / $6 chili dog. 2 pm Family Movie (lounge). 3-5 pm Poker Run $10 a hand, limit of 52 hands. Best poker hand wins half the pot. 6 pm Paint Workshop – adults/kids choose your design by Denise of Mountain Horse Farms/ pay at the office one week prior.
Aug 5-6-7 – CIVIC HOLIDAY WEEKEND – FRI- 7 pm Campfire Singalong with Bernie. SAT 10 am. Stunts & Challenges. 10 am Closest to the Pin (golf course). 2-4 pm Fishing Derby. Willem’s Food Drive –bring non-perishable foods to donate to the Ailsa Craig Food Bank. DJ Dance with the McNees. SUN– 10:30 am BIRDS OF PREY demonstration. 2 pm Family Movie (lounge).
August 12 – EARTH DAY – SAT 10 am Ausable-Bayfield Conservationist will teach us all about pond creatures. 12 noon Teddy Bear Picnic (bring a fav stuffy and your own picnic lunch). 1 pm 3-on-3 basketball tournament. SUN 12:30 p.m. ice cream treats for kids.
August 19 – GONE COUNTRY! Dig out your Stetsons and cowboy boots. 10 am Kids Crafts 11 am Tug of War. 2-5 pm Jail and Bail, proceeds to camp activities. Cornhole games. 5:30 pm Chuckwagon Dinner- hotdogs/burgers and corn on the cob (free, but donations to camp activities are welcome).
August 26 – HALLOWEEN – 1 pm Kids & pets costume parade at the Pavilion. Trick or Treating. Lot Decorating Contest. SAT Glow Monster Mash Dance with the McNees, prize for best costume at the dance. SUN 12:30 p.m. Sunday Sundaes ice cream treats for kids.
September 1-2-3-4 -LABOUR DAY WEEKEND – SAT- 10 am Closest to the Pin (golf course) 10-5 BUILD-A-BASKET fun-raiser. Groups of campers put together themed baskets. Buy tickets and bid on the baskets that you like. All donations accepted. Draw at 5 pm, must be in attendance to win. 2pm Kids Movie (lounge). 8 pm we will be awed by Magician Steve Oz. End of the year Horseshoe Tournament. /Sun- End of the Year Bocce Tournament.
September 16 – Seasonal Camper’s Dinner – 5 pm. at the Pavilion. Get your tickets at the office. Meal catered by Appin Catering and dessert by The Sweet Shoppe 31. Musical entertainment by GIRLS NIGHT OUT during dinner.
October 7-8 THANKSGIVING WEEKEND Sat 5 pm THANKSGIVING SEASONAL CAMPERS POTLUCK -Let’s give Thanks together at the Chalet! Bring a favourite first course and/or dessert to share. Water, tea & coffee will be provided.
